I called into Gap's 800 number for customer service. When I got a rep on the
line, as soon as I asked if the online promo out there with $25 for $50
through your cellphone was legit she immediately said yes.
Just to confirm as well, she said that it is strictly coupon for $25 off
purchase of $50 and nothing will be charged to your cellphone. (Which did
nto make sense anyway.)
I already got codes now for myself and my wife. ”

"I signed up immediately when I saw it front page, but after reading
comments I was second guessing myself. I called my local Gap Store here at
the South Shore Plaza around Boston and the rep knew about the deal before I
completely explained. I just said i found a $25 off $50 coupon online and
she said that it was valid and that I would need to bring in my cell phone
so they could get the code off. Seems legit, but I can't know for sure until
I actually go in later today and make a purchase. Need to buy some jeans
tonight so I will report back. F Me if its fake because I just signed up my
wife as well while she was at school. "

"Just to let you know.... I saw that there was additional $10 added on my
monthly Verizon cell phone bill. When I called Verizon they told me that I
did subscribe to premium messaging service offered by some company. If you
enter your cell phone number for any promotion on websites then they
subscribe you for this $10 monthly service, it is specified in the fine
print. They also send you an SMS confirming the subscription and if you
reply with STOP then the billing would stop.
I told representative that I never enter my cell phones on any website, so
he gave me contact information of that company and of course their contact
number was not working. The number given to me was 1-866-472-2770. Finally
Verizon Representative took off those $10 charges.
So everyone who subscribed keep watch on your cell phone bills and SMSs.
Make sure to reply STOP, else you might end up in having $10 on your monthly
bills. "
