I'm planning on doing the 1st trimester ultrasound+blood work check for
Downs.
My question is:
1. given i'm 37
2. given i'm Chinese
Would i end up with high risk anyway, so I can skip the 1st trimester
ultrasound+blood work and wait altogether (how long is the wait?), so i can
do
CVS directly? It'll alleviate a lot of waiting and stress...
So anyone knows the algorithm and how it will calculate my risk? If it's
more
than 1/100 no matter how the u/s + blood work turns out, then i'll just skip
it and do CVS.
