My baby will be born in a few month and we need to find a new apartment.
There is a nice one, with stairs (bedrooms upstairs). My parents concern
about the stairs (10-20 steps). Is it convenient for carry new born baby up
and downstairs everyday?

我觉得没问题。等孩子会爬了在楼梯口装个gate就行了。
当然没有楼梯的话会更方便些，但是一层的往往楼上楼下
有邻居，孩子半夜哭可能被邻居投诉

It should not be a deal breaker.
Just need to be careful with stairs when carrying the baby, particularly for
your parents.

不方便。娃会越来越重，老要抱着上下楼梯累人，大一点会爬会走了又会对楼梯感兴趣
，总想爬楼梯。
