Maybe have a Chinese name first, then find an English name that sound
similar?
Here is an example for a girl, but it's hard to find ones this close
X丹妮 =》 Danni X
Danni is not only the pinyin, but also an actual English name for a girl.
Actually, I don't like the idea of having an English first name coupled with
a Chinese family name unless either is very rare. I think English name in
pinyin is actually a better idea as long as it's easy to pronounce. Kids can
always pick an English name they like themselves later.
