岳父的B2签证，中信代签说材料不够。让到上海去面签。
这种情况的话需要打电话预约时间去上海面签吗？还是work in？

no, my mom just did so, just go there directly and likely just some missing
docs or something.

No need to make appointment just walk in. My mom got the same notice this
week. She just brought additional documents and the pink slip to the embassy
. They gave the interview right away. Only two questions asked: 1) who is
going to the US; 2) how long will you be there, and done. They didn't even
ask for any other documents as mentioned.
