给婆婆b2延期，得到版上很多的信息和帮助，还有热心的祝福，现在终于收到了批准的
信息，在此谢谢大家，以及分享一下个人的经验，也给正在办理b2延期的朋友一点信息。
07/18/2012：公公和婆婆第一次来美，给了180天，I-94 于01/17/2013过期；
10/16/2012：我在网上注册USCIS ELIS，给婆婆提交B2延期申请（婆婆原定01/06/2013
回中国）；所有的材料都是扫描然后转成PDF就可以了；因为我们声称提供婆婆延期期
间的花费，所以我们就填了i-134，然后扫描后转成PDF就可以了；
10/17/2012：公公按原定计划回中国；
12/31/2012：等到2个半月的处理时间还是没有消息，打了数次电话，但是各个接线员
的说辞多不一样，其间还转到上一级的officer问询，结果还是说起码得等3个月；理解
我们要提前该机票的消息，但是现在还是得等。。。郁闷了。还说如果i-94过期了，延
期pending的话，婆婆还是可以合法呆在美国。如果悲剧的话，邮件还得3天才寄到家，
婆婆还有足够的时间买机票回中国，只要不要故意呆在美国超过1个月，还ok。所以我
们只能改机票，等了；
01/06/2012：网上查状态，居然说“On Oct 16, 2012, we have mailed an approval
letter of I-539 to you…….”.
01/11/2012：收到 正式批准信了。计票还是费掉了，重新买了一张 。

As travel lovers, my parents have been many cities in different countries in
the past several years. For example, they visited me (time and place).
Since our last meeting in XXX, it has been a long time that we didn’t see
each other. Therefore, we really cherish their visiting after long
separation and made a long list of tour plan for them. During their stay in
USA in this summer, they have visited several famous tourist attractions
around XXX, such as XXXXX, etc. We also have planned to take them with our
kid to the Disney world and Sea World on this Christmas and Chinese New Year
, where my parents have never visited before. Unfortunately my father will
have to return to China due to his job duty. But my wife and I really hope
my mother could have this opportunity to spend more wondering time with us.
Especially, we could celebrate XXX. Additionally, we are planning to take
more short trips to national parks, so she gets to see all the different
beauties of America. These would be all great family memories if she can be
allowed to stay with us longer.
I am currently working as XXX (place). My wife is currently working as XXX.
We have sufficient financial support to cover my mother’s extended stay. My
mother is a retired in China with monthly pension and medical insurance.
She and my father owe a house in China as well as a good amount of bank
saving and stock/fund. She has her close relatives and friends in China. My
mother has left on time for all of her previous visits to other countries
with no record of illegal stay. The return ticket for her current visit has
been purchased from XXX, which can be changed and extended up to six months.
Therefore, we can ensure that she will return to China before her extended
stay expires, if our request can be kindly approved.
For your convenience, I have included the following documents to further
support this application:
• Photocopy of my mother’s B2 visa and I-94 form
• Photocopy of my mother’s passport
• E-ticket itinerary summary of my mother’s return trip to China
• Proof of financial support from me and my wife: recent bank
statements, recent paycheck stubs, my employment verification letter, I-134
form
• Copies of my parents’ financial documents in China: Copies of
monthly pensions, house title
• Copies of my parents’ marriage certificate
