Hi, sorry I can't type Chinese on this computer...
I'm in my 11th week of 1st time pregnancy. I am wondering if it is
necessary for me to have the "Cystic Fibrosis Screening". I don't think my
insurance covers it. Has any one of you had it done before? Thank you for
any advice!

我做了，难道不是常规检查吗？和其他所有一起查，还有唐氏什么的，保险付后一共自
己出五百多

My OB said it is not part of the 常规检查. So I told her I need to think
about it first.

这个亚洲人得的概率比白人低很多， asian american得的概率好像只有1 in 32,000，
做不做还是得楼主自己决定，估计大部分人都是保险cover也就做了。

The thing is, even if both parents carry the CF gene, there is only 1/4 of
chance that the baby will have CF. For a 25%, who would want to have an
abortion? So I just think the test is unnecessary, am I right?
