我们两个现在都上班，孩子从星期六开始发烧，今天是星期一了还没有退。我只好请
假在家，希望明天能好，但是如果她的病几天不好，怎么办？大家除了轮流在家照看
孩子，是不是可以请人帮忙，或者送孩子去某个比较可靠的地方照顾，这种 service
叫什么？

叫做back up care，可以上门照顾。

你可以问问邻居有没有在家妈妈愿意临时帮忙的。不过孩子小又生病的时候一般不太放
心交给别人看。我们就是轮流请假＋work from home对付的。

My kid daycare has a on-site clinic. My kid will be transferred to the on-
site clinic if he spikes high fever in the daycare. The on-site-clinic
charges me $50 a day for taking care of my sick baby, and a registered nurse
will give him the prescriptions or pain killer.
They also accept kids from other daycare by charging $70 a day. I put my
baby there a couple of times, and I'm satisfied with it.
You can search your local daycare to see if there is daycare on-site clinic.

My employer pays up to 15 days of child care per year for this purpose.

真要是少了一份工作就穷到这地步，那不会晚上加班啊。

我已经选择了在家照顾孩子，不去上班。但是我的问题是，万一孩子生病要长期在家，
我们的假期都用完了怎么办？我们也首先选择自己看护，但是想知道万一无法照顾，
有什么其它方式。
