想明年夏天来美国，现在去签，会不会早点？
但是又担心首签不顺利，所以想尽早。
要是有效期是一年，就没问题了。

从来没有听说带父母去签B2的。但我妈耳朵不太好，助听器也不太起作用。不是完全听
不到，就是怕她到时候听不清楚。就在想是否可以在我去H1B返签的时候带她去，类似
于携签那种。谢谢大家不吝赐教。

Droid is really a poor product.
1) Skype does not work even with a WLAN connection.
2) No tethering yet. Verizon promised for next year. But, it is far away.
3) CDMA only. No GSM.
4) Poor mechanical design. Slide the keyboard out and flip the phone. You
will see 6 screws and scratches at the back plate.
5) Poor mechanical design. The top row keys are hard to reach if a hard
case is there.
6) Applications crash.
7) Phone had frozen twice in less than 2 weeks.
This list can grow much longer

当然可以。个人觉得这样签过率可能还高点，告诉签证官你妈听力不好，所以你带她来
签。名正言顺！

我从学校推荐的公证处中选了一家办理，等了快一个月，对方说需要verification，要
我向国内学校要求寄官方证明文件给他，或者加钱由他们直接和国内联系。
我是中科院毕业的博士，学位证上颁发单位是中科院研究生院。是否应该直接和原研究
所联系？

你就在预约的时候告诉对方你们要一起约同一时间就行了。预约只管进门，只要约在同
一天同一时间，到的时候和门口对号的人说一声你们是一起的，你们就可以一起进去了。
进去后在窗口递材料时告诉他们你们要一起签（携签）就行了。关键是最后一步，这样
你们的材料不会被分给2个不同签证官。

Well, I do not want to change my phone if I travel back to China or Europe.
It has all the information, e.g. doc, schedule, etc, that I need.

，也完全不懂。AT&T卖no contract的iphone吗？好像说3.1.3版目前还无破解？这玩意
能跟国内的3G兼容的？

I have been commenting on Droid as a whole product not Android OS per se.
iPhone has not frozen for months. My HTC TP2 has not been that dead (have to remove battery) for much much longer duration.
Regardless of poor WM OS, HTC's engineering is respectable.

然后在美国买的有没有合同都有锁.3.1.3的还不能软解.
总体上说,没啥意思,不如从hk买了.

老货卖太好了，而且负担了10%的市场份额可能Intel不让提早更换处理器。
等到今年7月Core 2 Duo停产，必然会更新换代的。

I don't like TP's flashy design either. The easy to move keyboard makes
the phone not solid. just my 2c

然后背工从hk拿到深圳一般是五十一台
如果hk供应量比较充足的话一台三百的利润差不多少.
另外有人可能能从hk入网骗出来一些机器,会便宜一些.

这个不可行，因为该iphone就算没contract也必须加到你自己的ATT计划里去
没contract只是指不一定要两年
除了ebay买二手的基本没折

Sigh. I put a small fortune on Skype. Using it as a primary communication
tool. International calls, conferencing. Hard to give it up in a day.
Just imagine how difficult it is for you to tell everybody that you are
changing the cell number.
Verizon is one-eye-open-one-eye-shut on tethering. By googling verizon
tethering, you will see what I mean. They love you to use more bandwidth
and then, you will be changed more.
I use GPS/Email primarily. Still, I keep downloading a couple of fun
