给一个老美发过PIP,算是个刺头,确实无法胜任工作。过程如下:
1. He got bad review from his supervisor. We decided to start PIP.
2. He come to me with all kinds of excuses and blaming his supervisor. I
already communicated with his supervisor and come to an agreement before
meeting with him, so this didn’t work.
3. PIP meeting: He tried to delay the meeting for a couple of weeks and
refused to sign PIP when we finally met. HR explained to him this is only to
inform him about the decision, and he signed with a note that he did not
consent.
4. Start taking sick leave and threatened us with legal actions. Our
response: had another meeting with HR to make sure everything is tight. No
actual legal action was taken by him.
5. Fought with his supervisor for several weeks on every PIP meeting.
Unfortunately I had to sit through those meetings.
6. Finally gave up and resigned before the end of PIP.
过程和gjstx讲的差不多, 看来老美搞这套都是常识。那几个星期真不好过,最后他提
出辞职大家都松了一口气。写出来供大家参考。
