我两个星期前刚从campus面试回来，给search chair写了感谢信，以下是他们的回信。
请问这个回信是positive吗？ 是不是Search Chair还希望我能再加点材料（funding,
paper, students)来加强申请哪？
Dean:
Hi,*** You're welcome! I enjoyed our meeting and hearing about the wide
range of ***-related research topics you are pursuing. I also heard very
nice comments from others that met with you. I'm glad that you had a good
visit. I appreciate all of the time that you invested in getting to know us
better. **** (search chair) is gathering feedback from everyone that you
met with and should be getting back in touch with you to get your thoughts
on the visit. Thanks!

week and learning about your research and future plans. I am also glad
that we made a good impression on you – I am passionate about our excellent
faculty and the support that we provide to help them grow their ideas. As
you saw during your visit, there is tremendous *** research at **** and many
potential collaborators for you. Our search processes continue to move
along. I will be in touch asap with a substantive update and would ask that
you please be sure to let me know if there are any changes to your
circumstances that would impact our search.

Now chase has really low interest rate.
wondering whehter there is better savings rate in online banks, I know ING
direct.Any other recommendations?

，看片子用Netflix，买机票Priceline，工作要和Red Hat和Oracle打交道。
这里面任何一家倒掉，对生活都有影响。任何一家股票飙起来都觉得有道理。
可明天如果Jobs挂了，苹果倒了，我觉得没有任何影响啊。mp3都是电驴下的，也不用
itune。

these are pretty positive. they are obviously interested in you, and I think
at this point it depends on how strong the other candidates are.

Capital one, 1.25% APY.
再要高的话，就弄reward checking吧，能到3-4% APY.

听起来search committee chair 不是要让你补材料，是如果你有了别的offer或者接受
了别的offer，要早点告诉他们。

amex好像也有1.3%的saving
