New to this forum, I am curious if the timeline on my Fastlane was unusual:
Program: CAREER, Bio, MCB
Submission: 7/22/2013
Review: External peer review began on 8/5/2013
Isn't it too fast to have the review started less than 2 weeks after the
submission? How do you know when the review is done and when the panel is
going to meet?
Any insight will be appreciated. THANKS!!!

刚刚查了我自己的，果然也是这个月就panel。今年真的很快。也好。
如果panel后没几天，收到PM的电话或是email要abstract或者回答问题，基本上就中了。

我觉得买gift card可能还好点。。。
walmart买500，costco买1k。。。慢慢用。。。
都算purchase不。。。

如果只是淡淡的一点阴影，用PS调一下亮度和对比度就行了，阴影基本上就看不出来了。

国会现在还没有定明年的budget,nsf不知道明年有多钱。所以估计中了的，至少也要等
10月1号以后了。

To get no shadow, you'll have to use one or more external flashes. Don't use
built-in flash. It's too harsh. If you don't have a diffuser dome, use a
thin white cloth or paper. You may need to adjust white balance as white
cloth and paper are not really white and may cast some color hues.

不要买硬币，买硬币会上chase黑名单的，外国人论坛看到的

Haha.... this explains why they have me blacklisted. I did exactly that for

不太相信。去年搞BA的，不会都没买硬币吧。就算这个版上只有十个八个买了硬币的，
有木有见到谁出来抱怨被关卡、收回点数、再申chase不成功？有木有？

costco, Picture People, 很多照的不错的地方啊。
已经花了几千块钱，何必为了省一二十块钱而冒险。
家里有专业相机的除外。
