在和系主任工作的几年时间里面，他的工作作风是：当我发邮件问他事情的时候，如果
他的答案是肯定的，那么他会很快回复。如果他一直不回复，那么意味着他的回答是否
定的。他从来没有在邮件里面说过NO.他的No都是默认不回复。最近想申请一个项目，
需要系主人签字。上周发了邮件问他一直没回复。在这封邮件前后的邮件他都回复了。
我觉得他的意思是No了。但是没有得到最后的回复我又不甘心。请问我还需要给他发邮
件吗？
另外，我个人很不喜欢用不回复来表示拒绝。如果你想拒绝就直接回复我拒绝的理由好
了。美国人都是这种风格吗？

You are entering your time, dear Taurus. Early March is so heavenly that it
will be a long time before we see anything similar. (The last time was in
June 2004.) What is so exciting is that we have four planets, all in earth
signs like yours, Pluto, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars, and will all be
circulating in fellow earth signs, all reaching the same tiny mathematical
degrees, and all forming a perfect triangle in the sky. A triangle is the
best configuration you could ever hope to see.
Watch the full moon in Virgo on March 8 for the first sign that something is
happening in the heavens. Although these planets will hit exact
mathematical perfection on March 12 and 13 - dates you need to watch, too -
you will certainly feel the benefits of those days even more strongly over
the full moon period, March 8, plus or minus four days. The full moon's job
is to amplify the energy surrounding the full moon, so that you can spot it
and take full advantage of it.
This full moon will be just sensational for your personal emotional life,
having to do with romance or a burgeoning relationship. You may meet someone
new that you can't get out of your mind, or you may hear a confession of
love. Alternatively, matters may involve having to do with children /
pregnancy. You may find out you or your partner is having a baby, or a child
you have now may bring you sensational news - the kind so special you will
want to stop complete strangers

's involvement in this month's extraordinary configuration assures that.
If your birthday falls on May 7, or within five days of this date, you will
notice the beauty of this full moon.
If your birthday falls close to April 27, plus or minus four days, the
golden triangle will reach out to benefit you. Mathematically you will be in
the best possible place.
I would like to talk about the amazing energy of March 12 now, the day that
Jupiter and Pluto will be perfectly, mathematically in dialog, the last time
these two powerhouses will be conversing in such a friendly way. (The next
time will be October 2015.) Jupiter expands everything it touches, and when
involved with massive Pluto, a planet that has massive reach, it always
spells big-time success. Ordinarily I would tell you to use this day, and
you can, but I feel you would be wiser to use the days LEADING to this day.
Stay within the umbrella of this strong and powerful full moon, March 8, if
possible. If you need a weekday to sign a contract for a work-related deal,
do so March 9.
I say this because Mercury is about to go retrograde in Aries from March 12
to April 4. This means you will need to wrap up all your talks prior to
March 12, and if I had my druthers, I would prefer you do so at the peak of
this sensational full moon, March 8, to leave a little extra room between
your actions and the onset of Mercury retrograde. Mercury retrograde periods
are generally not periods to agree to any new ventures or opportunities,
and certainly bad periods for buying electronics. The door is closing on
that kind of shopping, so if you must buy a computer, flat screen TV, or new
smartphone, do so either in the first week of March (the earlier the better
), or wait until late April.
You always want to keep your distance from a Mercury retrograde period.
There is one exception to "never start new ventures" under Mercury
retrograde, and that is if you hope to work with or join someone from your
past. It may be that your former boss calls you to ask you to work at his
new firm, as one example. Even so, I would be cautious.
As you see, you have an incredibly active and positive period during March 1
to 11, and as I will explain now, you will have a quiet second half of
March. (No worries, the end of April will be packed with news and
opportunity for you!) Not only will Mercury retrograde make the second half
of March a period of watch and wait, but the new moon of March 22, falling
in a solar house of your chart ruling privacy, will too. That new moon will
light your twelfth house of confidential meetings and talks, so it will be
more of a period of exploration and planning than one of action. Things will
be shifting and in flux, so it would be best to hold off until April to act.
As an aside, Mars is still retrograde, too, and because Mars is the high-
octane booster rocket to all your efforts, you may want to wait until he
will go direct April 13. Two days later will be a depressing day of the year
when Saturn will oppose the Sun (akin to ice meeting fire), April 15. This
will be a Sunday, but represents another day of the year you will want to
avoid for taking a decisive action.
Let's turn back to this month. The new moon of March 22 will help to light
your house of intuition, which too often in our modern world is ignored. Pay
attention to what your heart is telling you to do, and don't silence it.
You have Uranus and Mercury in this house too, and they are about to meet on
March 18, giving you brilliant insights through dreams or while awake when
a flash of insight occurs to you.
In the second half, Venus and Jupiter will continue to orbit very close to
one another, and that is a wonderful situation for you. Generous Jupiter
will protect all your interests when staying glued to Venus like her
bodyguard.
There are two areas that will glow most brightly, thanks to this warm
friendship between Venus and Jupiter. First, you will see lovely progress in
regard to your physical and mental health. Of course, nothing happens by
itself, but rather, you will need to show the universe your intent to be in
top form by taking steps to become healthier. You may order tests or
procedures from your doctor, or you may see a therapist if you are troubled
by certain fears or a habit that you would like to be free of once and for
all.
Secondly, Venus so close to Jupiter may also help your workaday situation.
You may reorganize your team, or early in March, add a new member to your
staff who reports to you and who will prove to be a gem. You may get new
software or computers, but if so, have them up and running prior to Mercury
retrograde, March 12. You never want to install new software with Mercury
retrograde.
Romantically, the first part of March will be a "10." I think I have spelled
that out for you already!
Aside from the full moon March 8, operative plus or minus five days, and the
glorious days of March 13, when Jupiter in Taurus will be so active and
communicative to Pluto, I also will put a gold star on the day Venus and
Pluto interact, March 13. On that same day, March 13, Jupiter in Taurus and
Mars in Virgo will be in close conversation, and Venus will also be speaking
to Pluto on your behalf. I cannot tell you how wonderful these days will be
for you, and the effects of these days may stretch for months.
Most romantic dates: March 3, 4, 5, 6, with March 8 to 12 gold-star days, 13
, 15, 16, 19, 24, and 25. Remember for first dates, schedule those for the
first week, March 8-12.

不要猜，有的时候他可能忙别的事情。打电话挺好或者直接去问也行。

这种可能有,面试有时侯是一个很tricky的事情,并不是你表现最好就一定能拿到offer
没收到offer只能说明这份工作不适合你,move on 就可以了.

这得多牛的人才能拿到100次phone interview呀，更别说on-site了
又得是多弱的人100次phone interview还拿不到一个offer
所以说楼主的问题根本就不成立

sigh! 没见过世面.
我头一个半月就有11 phone interview, 却只有一个
ON SITE 还被我FAIL了. 就这,我还没出城呢. 什么就"100次 onsite就能走遍美国了"
有的地方是没有人INTERVIEW 你的.
以这个速度, 我的100次phone interview很快就会有了.
俺有一天就有三个phone interview.长的40分钟,短的才约有5分钟.
