Just for LZ's reference, I got my MS in MIS in my late 20s so 30 is not too late to study that. it's not as tough as CS and may take 1.5 - 2 years to get it. It doesn't require as many credits as accounting. That's why I picked this major instead of accounting after I got my wenke MA. If working hard and lucky, you may get some scholarship or GA assistantship or internship with local corporations that have combined projects with the school. You can count your GA experience (parttime) towards yo

statistics may be good too, especially when you have expertise in SAS. I don 't think statistics is very tough but personally I just don't like number crunching. If you don't have the passion for the study field and only do it for future job and greencard, the schooling time would be really painful to endure. My two cents.
