It is a very nice counter offer but I still decide to move because of better
research environment (better students due to higher rank, better research
support staff, and more active colleagues as collaborators) even though the
location for living is not so good. The dean has been very supportive to me
in the past years. How to decline it nicely without disappointing the dean
and provost too much?
