Is it possible to use an Android to dialup to the internet? - I mean the old
fashioned way: connect the device to a telephone line, dial the phone
number of an ISP and connect at slow speed.

没太看懂你的意思，你是想在没有网络地方让android设备用电话线上网吗？
如果你的平板有usb口，可以试试看用usb modem。
