有美国绿卡，值得全家（2大2小）过去吗？
现在是苦逼postdoc，一人养家，工资找了大半年的美国faculty，到现在无果
犹豫要不要过去

Breaking News
Get the conga line going, folks, because Verizon's finally come out of its
non-committal shell and announced that its version of the Samsung Galaxy
Nexus, as expected, can be purchased in stores and online starting tomorrow
for $300 with a new two-year commitment. If you go through the official site
to grab your copy, you may want to stay up late tonight -- they'll be ready
to go at 1AM.

不知道你什么方向。是University of Queensland吗？是的话值得去。UQ在澳洲属于前
5的牛校了。比美国应该也差不多前50了。布里斯班风景很好，离海近，相当于美国的
湾区，就是有点湿，像广州。应该是讲师吧。怎么都算faculty了。俩小都送幼儿园会
紧张。

Fixed term 好像是很难延长的，除非奇迹发生比方说你申请到了一堆资金或者系里的
人非常非常喜欢你。
这种情况的唯一出路就是到了澳大利亚立刻就开始联系国内，然后如果第三年果真不能
延期了就千青回国。
我是说回中国。回美国会很难。除非那个时候你发了几篇新的大文章

嗯。那个fixed 3 years 能不能说具体点。一种就是fixed 3年的contract。一种是
continuous 的位置，但是有3年的probation (类似美国的5年tenure track).如果前一
种就像 sunnyday说的。后一种就是美国的tenure track.

这个是32G的，起码和iphone一个价格。

就是fixed 3 years,
能不能延期取决于有没有新的grant，
太多不确定了
算了，放弃了，还是接着在美国找....
