头一次写面经回馈本版, 记得流水账, 凑合着看吧.
有些问题可能答得不对或不是很得体,请多多指教!
Background: physics
Company: software
Got up at 7:20am, took shuttle to site at 8:35am, arrived 8:45am. Got name
tag from receiptionist, waited in the lounge for about 10m before meeting HR.
HR 9:00-10:00am
Go over benifits, relocation (lump sum), 401k, quarterly bonus.
Q: Why Ph.D. in physics? Why moving to this company? Salary for each
employment. Why not research?
Q: Any other offers? Interviews? Told him I have
an interview in NYC next week.

前房主过去几年都没交HOA FEE，一共1200。我们刚买这个房子三个月，是SFH，HOA
FEE 每年400。当初CLOSE 的时候，ESCROW 说卖主没有提供任何关于HOA 的信息，他们
也不能LOCATE THE HOA，然后就让我们CLOSE 了。我们的PURCHASE AGREEMENT里有写卖
主负责以前的费用。我们刚CLOSE的时候，HOA曾联系我们，才知道欠钱的事。问了
ESCROW，他们的意思这是SELLER和HOA之间的事，我们不用管。我们就让HOA 直接和
SELLER要钱，现在估计是要不到了，HOA又说我们作为CURRENT OWNER，要付这笔钱。我
们觉得怎么也不该我们来付，现在应该怎么办才能让HOA不来烦我们呢？不理HOA，还是
和让他们和ESCROW联系再说？

今天把地里的青蒜都拔了，种了6颗葡萄，青蒜移栽到了另外一块地里，问下大家移栽
后的青蒜还会结蒜头抽蒜薹么？多谢！

公司买了一个unlock的google ICS, 试用了一下,感受如下：
显示屏很大，开机一大堆色块汹涌而来，很炫；
ICS UI和以前的版本不大一样了，不过还是很google 化；
语音很好用；
拨号界面巨土；
samsung 的phone 塑料感太强；
总体来讲这款手机估计不会很hot。

Did you buy the premium title insurance? If you did, then refer the HOA to
the title insurance company.
If you did not buy the title insurance, then the title company is liable.
The title company must contact the HOA to clear the dues before this deal
can be closed. This is why you need to pay title search and title
examination. Sometimes, the title company can say that because it is not a
recorded lien so it is not responsible for this lien. At least, this is not
professional.

建议你把青蒜吃了吧。蒜头移栽之后，基本不长了。

Also depending on if you bought the basic or premium title insurance. If
basic, then the title insurance company will not pay for you as this is not
a recorded lien. If premium, then the title insurance will have to pay for
you.

这个倒不清楚，怎么看是basic还是premium呢？当初买title insurance的时候，按
title insurance company的要求，我们付了３００多买的lender's policy，seller付
了６００多买的owner's policy，这个是不是就是premium？

试了ics在nexus s上，刚觉很好。。。不是官方的版本，还有些小bug，总体上比２.X
强的太多了。
考虑放弃iphone中。。。

Depending on the price of your house. Call your title insurance company and
ask.
Basic title insurance doesn't cover much at all. This is why I always
recommend my clients to buy premium title insurance, especially in short
sale or REO situation.
