i use live mesh and sync the entire folder. total sync space is 5gb,
separate from the 25gb of regular skydrive.

oh just one word of caution. skydrive, like dropbox and other syncing tools,
is not a backup solution. if you rely on that to backup your data, just in
case, you accidentally delete them from your client, they are gone from the
server too.

不是用来back personal data，是一些不是那么重要的东西，比如app啦
dropbox能恢复删掉的文件，不知道skydrive和google drive是否会有
估计功能会慢慢完善

say you have a desktop and 2 laptops and for backup purpose, you sync a
folder called "data" using live mesh across the 3 devices and your cloud
storage
if you delete a file in this sync'd folder on a laptop, the same file will
be placed in the recycle bin of your other laptop as well as your desktop.
it is indeed gone from the cloud storage, but you still have triple backup
on 3 devices.

i haven't figured out where the recycle bin is on my phone and on the web.
but on my computer, i'm so used to permanent delete (SHIFT+delete).
