比如我的感觉:
dell streak 5 要是坚持改进,引该没samsung note啥事
dell venue pro 坚持改进camera 键盘 厚度等等,应该也能成为一代神机

dell streak 5我拿出来用常常引起周围人的惊叹,做工,式样,功能都不差,但是被
DELL迅速放弃,估计是公司内部斗争的结果。DELL在大屏phone上有远见并先走了一步
,但是不知道坚持和正确的市场策略,而急着推出脑残设计的dell streak 7,结果都
成为三星的铺路石子。

我觉得回国去国内银行拿更靠谱。。
很多旅游来的人2块的纸币,好几百新票,近来就花了。我跟他们都换了好多。

扯淡,你们都完全不明白这些公司的定位。 Dell是很聪明的人,他们家的战略就是做
IT领域的walmart,根本不做真正的研发的。
对于这些产品,放弃是应该的。
对于Dell,真正进入的切入点都是等到产品成为标准化,成为commodity,Dell进去拼
供应链,低价竞争。 问题是smartphone,tablet还没有到那个地步

dell streak 5 和 venue pro 绝对是非常棒的产品。当年99甩卖,不知道吃错什么药

Completely agree. I have Steak 5. It's the first 5" device with everything
built-in. Compare to the today's popular Note. Dell could just replace with
faster CPU and 720P screen. It's still a nice phone/tablet.
Now most high-end phones go with 4.5-4.7" screen. Dell somewhat created
market, but didn't get chance to make money from it.
Michael Dell need to think really hard about what it did in the past several
years. Now, it's completely out from mobile devices.

That's not right. If this is the way of running company. Why did DELL
release
Streak 5 ? Do you know that Dell actually give away close to 1000
engineering
sample Streak 5 phones/tables ? It's a big marketing cost.
This is also wrong. Smartphone/tablets already become commodity. Only
problem is that DELL cannot 低价竞争 because it has no cost advantage.

上次面试Dell问他们Dell有什么和其他公司与众不同的企业文化, 那个面试官支支吾吾
讲了不少bullshit. 那个时候就知道这个公司应该很普通了.

Dell spent a lot time on marketing. A few years ago he came to visit my
company and persudated it to switch from HP to Dell. But the Dell notebooks
had a high failsure rates so it switched back to HP in 2010 (IMO HP is even
worse than DELL)
