写的一个proposal,给我的一个mentor看了，mentor一个劲儿说好，，也不知道是不是
鼓励我。。他也不是省时间瞎说，他全看了一遍，还给改了，当然改得不多，但是提了
些方向性的建议也挺中肯看得出来是都看了的。关键是他说有戏。如果是他，他讨论时
会support的.
然后自己老板看了说基本都是在空想，so基本不会被讨论。。
当然baseline情况我mentor人比较nice，老板比较mean...但是给老板看那版已经是在
mentor看过后改进了的了...心情好复杂..

最近在Costco买了HP的，AMD Quad-core A10 touchscreen电脑。电脑常没反应，需要
等。是不是电脑不好，太便宜？才$599.还是电脑都这样？
准备把它退了，有没有好的推荐？就上网看看东西和炒股用，不玩游戏。

之前娘亲给买了一个华为U9000，拿过来root以后刷了miui 2.4.6（还是2.4.7记不清楚
了，反正比原来的好用很多，还有google一切服务）。
现在打算升级familyplan上所有的手机，就不打算保留这个了。有人有兴趣不？
2G Network GSM /EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G Network WCDMA 900/1900/2100/AWS；
买来这两个月一直用在ATT的dumb phone线上，没有任何被charge data的问题，估计是
IMEI不会被识别的原因，这期间我还用我自己的有data plan的sim卡试过，能够正常上
3G网络（当然，不是lte的phone，呵呵）。没有任何划痕，有原装的充电器等附件。
有兴趣的话，开个价吧？两月以前在国内专卖店买的，当时是1200不到的样子。

为给他看时东西还比较draft，，不过吧，还是想知道谁的evaluation更靠近真实一点

多半是硬盘有问题。
再说$599一点都不便宜，还不如买asus UX305或者yoga 3 11。差不多的价格，但是比
你这个电脑强太多了。

小学一年级学过一篇课文，叫做“小马过河”
记不清就再翻出来读一遍吧，可以解答你的问题
其实小学一年级的课文，什么小猫抓蝴蝶，小马过河，乌鸦喝水，骆驼和羊
对于指导phd和faculty科研，是很有帮助的
应该经常多多回顾

即使这两个同时work，ssd+core i/m也不会卡顿，就是风扇呼呼转。
日常使用出现卡顿肯定是电脑本身的问题。

这个速度，每个地点有区别吧？我自己的atrix 2，我同事的google nexus和iphone4S
，从来都是只有几个M的速度而已。

11 bios升级前就经常cpu被lock在低频（0.5GHZ)回不去，升级后暂时还没遇到过这个
问题。
看来大家都是XP时代留下的后遗症，电脑不好用就重装系统。其实从win7+SSD开始，重
装系统的意义就不大了。

我一般重装的原因是不确定是不是进了流氓软件，有时候不得不运行一些免费的工具软件

不管能不能查出来，cpu占用率之类的是系统统计的，只要有程序在占用资源肯定会显
示出来。
能不能查杀或找出源文件又是另一回事。

这个查不到的。除非重装干净的系统，没有任何其它有效办法。

rootkit木马很常见的，你可以wiki一下
"A rootkit is a stealthy type of software, typically malicious, designed to
hide the existence of certain processes or programs from normal methods of
detection and enable continued privileged access to a computer"
"Rootkit detection is difficult because a rootkit may be able to subvert the
software that is intended to find it. "
"Removal can be complicated or practically impossible, especially in cases
where the rootkit resides in the kernel; reinstallation of the operating
system may be the only available solution to the problem."
不用占很多资源，就藏在系统进程里面，根本就不是独立进程。需要的时候开个后门自
动下载个木马或者病毒，国内的流氓捆绑软件经常就带这种木马，安装后根本没法删干净

两招可以搞定这种木马：
1. 升级硬件，用UEFI SECURE BOOT的主板。2011年以后的主板基本上都具备这个功能
，如果你用的是MRB mode，你去BISO里面enable就行。你要是从MBR mode转成UEFI
secure boot的话，Windows得重装。好处是，打开了secure boot这个功能，那么没有
数字签名的系统核心，或者被修改过的系统核心都不能启动。所以如果木马即使能够修
改了系统核心，他也启动不了系统。
2. 用mitigation tools，比如微软的EMET， malwarebytes anti exploit。这两个可
以监控系统和软件进程，防止木马进程插入到正常系统或者软件的进程。这样木马就没
法伪装自己。
总之，新的硬件，搞定这种木马是很容易的事情。而且EMET是免费的，随便装。
