My document has been sent to my attorney. Don’t know what will come out of
it, but I guess I still can share some tips with your guys and in the end I
will ask some questions.
(I am going to type English here, since it is much quicker and easier.
Chinese input is always a pain for me, it not only kills my brain cells, but
also has made good contribution damaging my hairs.)
About getting reviews. A lot of people have provided decent template letters
asking for review opportunities. However, based on my experience, it is
always quicker if you get someone you know involved in this kind of requests
. Talk to your colleagues who have review experience, and be flank about your
situation. They will find reviews for you much quicker than you thought. In
the beginning of EB1 preparation in February, I had no idea about reviews
what so ever, but I have finished 7 reviews so far. I am not going to claim
this category, but I guess this experience will make my whole package look
much better, since some journals have very good standing. The recommendation
from your experienced colleagues will bring editors’ attention and trust
very quick and sometimes before your realize it, you are on road already.
Good luck on this.
About letters. I am working on the field of medical research, and according
to my own experience, I gather it is relatively easy to get letters and
supports from those who work on clinical and basic research both. One of the
reasons, I think is that in basic research, there are more demands of GC
application and many PIs already know what the deal is. Go do some research
and if possible target on those who have double citizenship, for in stance,
US and UK citizenship. I assume they themselves have gone through the GC
process in the past and understand your needs better.
My question is what your option is for I-140 document shipping? Any method
you think is quick and inexpensive, do you use USPS priority or you prefer
FedEx?
Is the I-140 receipt issued based on your e-file completion or the physical
document arrival?
Do you pay for shipping cost in addition to attorney fee? I know compare to
other cost, shipping, even “express filing and shipping” is almost nothing
, but I still want to hear your story.
Thanks for all your inputs!
Wish to receive your bless and good luck to you all.
