Onsite的时候：
1. 和平级同事聊啥呢？是聊研究问题，请教如何申请funding，还是讲讲合作。经常半
个小时不到就不知道讲啥了？
2. 和dean，chair聊啥呢？tenure标准？哪里找合作？申funding的资源？还是讲讲自
己可以给系里和学校带来什么样的合作？
请各位过来人多多指点！万分感谢！！！

如果我跳了一个tmobile的deal，弄了1个电话T（有2年新合约），我有一个unlocked
的iphone,我的问题是：
我必须用电话T去履行这个2年新合约吗？还是我可以用iphone？

有的人是有具体问题要问你的，那种情况就老实回答问题。
有的人是想看能不能和你合作的，那就适当互动 explore 一下
有些人是拉过来 fill up schedule的。如果他愿意谈他/她的研究，你就虚心听着，顺
便问一两个问题。如果他/她愿意闲扯，就和他闲扯，说说当地生活之类。
自己事先想好一些 softball questions.比如 tenure procedure,teaching load,当地
房价，生活水平，孩子学校之类。谈不下去是可以用

和dean, chair 之类要尽量professional一点，问问 tenure procedure, funding
expectation, teaching assignments,service expectation, institutional support
for grant proposal, any teaching relief for new faculty, any mentoring
system for new faculty,grad admission situation, opportunities of including
undergraduates for research, etc.

You may also ask Dean or Chair how much overhead return do you get from
federal grants. Are there any limitations as to how to use overhead returns.
