偶尔会有一个月的free trial。用过几次，给HR发信的话在我这里没啥用。如果联系好
心的同胞求推荐，而该同胞不在2级联系网以内的话，还是有些用处的。

The phone is near perfect. I say near because htc could do better job for
the battery. It could just add 1mm thick to make room for a larger battery.

HTC uses 4-core CPU, while 920 uses dual core.
HTC has 2GB RAM, 920 only has 1GB.

I know a lot of people in Microsoft, they even choose HTC 8X over 920.

8x和920 side by side玩了半小时，8x差一截。

DNA是全球通，CDMA和GSM通吃，而且是没上锁的。有病的才买920，我10年前的智能手
机都比它轻。
DNA有两个愚蠢之处：一是电源开关的位置；二是3个键离得太远。如果都像中间靠拢的
话，单手操作的时候就不会老是碰到它们了。
目前价格太高，过一阵就会跌的，然后必须买一个。花500刀以上买有上述脑残设计的
手机或电脑，那是我10年前才会干的傻事 - when I was young and foolish.
Incredible 2上不了ATT的3G，DNA能。回国上联通的3G。真正的全球通。

其实verizon所有的LTE设备都是unlocked的。
因为当时批给v家LTE这个频段时候签的协议，不能locked。

That's good to know.
Do you mean US government had deal with Verizon when it approved the request
of having LTE frequency from the Verizon ?
I feel this part at least US government(FTC) is doing good job to protect
consumers(it also blocked AT&T and T-Mobile merge).

这个是说verizon 所有的LTE手机都能在中国任何一个CDMA运营商那里用吗？
但是如果原本是电信，带到美国还能用吗？电信在这边好像不是用verizon的网。

首先CDMA和GSM不能混用。
其次CDMA各家的carrier也不能混用，因为无sim卡，要烧号，而这个是违法的。
所以所谓的unlocked只是针对GSM。也就是说verizon的手机如果支持GSM，
那么你随便在世界各地插张GSM的sim卡即可。
这边的CDMA回国可以随便找个手机店烧号使用。反过来比较困难，在美国是联邦重罪，
你只能自己偷偷的烧。
一句话，只有GSM是世界通用的

这几年的的发展趋势确实是：
核越来越多（包括apple)
内存越来越大（包括apple)
重量越来越轻（包括apple)
爱评论的专业人士自己即不生产也不设计手机

相信专业人士的评论的是太幼稚。靠写评论为生的，从来不是从用户的角度。从一些论
坛里的帖子才能看到一些真正有意思的东西。当然论坛里充斥一些低档次的胡扯，但是
有些是高手的真货，前提是自己要有眼光去辨别。专业评论基本上都是极其肤浅的功能
描述，没有什么货真价实的东西。
比如你去看看L.A.Times对DNA的评阅，你就能看到所谓专业人士的评论能垃圾到什么程
度。立论毫无根据，逻辑混乱，前言不搭后语，
Verizon的LTE手机都有SIM槽，不知道电信的卡能不能插进去、认不认。

偶的dna已经出了，电池太差，还有几个小毛病，屏幕实在是太棒了，现在的智能手机
里排第一的，而且没有并列。

Exactly, my friend bought one, and he told me that he scared to take photos
because the camera uses a lot of battery(20%) for just a few shots.
The camera takes great photos, but it is less usable due to the battery.
HTC either has to make the battery removable or put at least 3000ma battery
inside. HTC doesn't listen the feedback from many tech savvy who usually
give the recommendation(with good reasons) to their friends and relatives.
It will lose the market share to Samsung and some of Chinese companies. Oppo
find5 looks nice. The company just need build a reasonable
service/support team in the US or other countries, and have tight control on
the product quality. It will take off. Keep in mind the profit margin on
smart phone is still very high, much higher than computers/tablets as long
as the volume is good(say over 1 million units/month)

这就是为哈单纯追求一维的技术指标没有哈意义
关键是系统集成, 整体peformance好才行
给个5"屏幕, 4core GPU, 4G RAM
放个1000ma的不可换电池, 等同于废品.

Yes, that's the reason that Samsung can grab a lot of market share
from others. Just look at the Note2, Samsung puts 3500ma battery.
Make it a really balanced large screen phone. I remember my Dell Streak 5
only can last for 3-4 hours for web browsing. Samsung at least listen
to the customers and put effort to address some of the key weakness.

买这个手机主要是图其全球通，在美国用PagePlus或BoostMobile，到中国用联通或移
动，不用带两个手机，所有的数据都在一个地方。如果三星有这样的全球通的话，肯定
不买HTC的。Moto经常也出全球通，但是比HTC更差多了。
