我的律师把我写的一些赞扬的话全部删掉了(比如我每一段结尾或者中间都会强调一下
自己是outstanding），只在开头和结尾各保留了1句 “internationally recognized
scholar"和”with extraordinary research ability"。不知道这样“低调”有没有必
要啊？
另外，他也只要求推荐人说我的original contribution，用非常朴实的文字把我的两
篇paper的内容用了2小段话叙述了一遍，说了一下是original contribution，
而没有任何吹捧说我的publication怎么的top，citation怎么的多之类的。
总觉得心里不踏实。。。既然推荐人可以更好的吹捧我一下，为什么不用呢？请问大家
是怎么样的？

没有那些牛x的话ok, 把主要contribution 写的具体很重要。
不是每封信都要写你的publication top, citation等，可以分散在不同的信中。
不同的信用不同的角度强调你的具体贡献应该是最Impressive的。

还是这个靠谱。现在当和尚是热门职业，以前总说那个哈尔滨佛学院可难进了。

我的两封由推荐人亲自起草的推荐信里，推荐人详细论述了我的文章的引用数据。
那些数据都是他们亲自查的。

但是Citation很容易查到啊，用Google scholar 10秒就可以找到。而且是同领域的推
荐人，pub是不是top,根本就不需要查，心里早就有数。关键是的确非常Top的pub,是毫

imo, it is you that should provide this data, neither the lawyer nor the
preferences.
present this data in tables, figures, screenshot, etc, and submit it as
attachment to the petition or rfe letter.

理解，估计律师也是这么想的。
但是有些主观的评价，比如journal/conference的好坏，是不是top，如果从某位大牛
嘴里说出来，那样子会更有说服力啊。

If one or two references say so, it's OK.
If every references say so, it's suspicious.
Try this one:
"Dr. xxx has published nnn peer-reviewed papers in premier journals and mmm
papers in internationally renowned academic conferences. For example, CVPR
has long been recognized as one the most prestigious and high-quality
conferences in the field of computer science. Dr. xxx successfully published
three papers in it and presented his work to thousands of experts and
