Trio gets shot after showing off weapon

Three people were shot after reportedly showing off a new revolver on the
West Side late Saturday.
According to San Antonio police, the trio had bought a firearm hours earlier
, and “had gone around the area threatening people with it,” a police
spokeswoman said.
Around 10 p.m., one of the men they'd threatened armed himself and went to
Cortez Avenue and Jewett Street to wait for them, police said.
As the three men walked through the intersection, the man got out of his
vehicle and fired 10 shots, police said, hitting each of the three men.
Police said one victim ran eight blocks away, to the 300 block of South San
Eduardo, where he collapsed. He and the two other men sustained injuries not
thought to be life-threatening and were taken to University Hospital,
police said.
The shooter remains at-large.
