家里的座机一直使用Obihai+GV，用的是Google Voice的号码。
现在GV要结束了，再考虑换其他付费的VOIP的服务。
试了Localphone.com的，什么都好，就是不能使用原来Google Voice的号码。
不想换号码了，家里这个号码还是挺重要的，希望能够保留下来。
大家有什么推荐吗？

不太清楚．
只用Google Voice就可以(receiving incoming call)，还是还要加用IPCall or
Callcentric?(making outgoing call)

其实kot的support写的很清楚，就是很多人没一页页看完。

[Device Settings] [Softphone Settings] [Google Voice]
如果你用的是OBI或其他的设备，
看完[Device Settings]和[Google Voice]两项就应该可以设置好。
如果你用的是Softphone，
看完[Softphone Settings]和[Google Voice]两项就应该可以设置好。
或者看我在另一贴里的设置方法。这是我根据以上两项加上我的用户体验写的。

I think you can buy a caller ID from LocalPhone, then forward the GV call to
that caller ID, then you can select the GV number showing as the call out
number in the Obitalk.com set up. I could be wrong as I have not tried it
myself yet.

接通延迟大什么现象？没响两声就断了？

不需要port
You can get a free DID from
Callcentric
Forward your GV to that DID
Set your outbound callerID to your GV number.

KoT不会增加任何语音延迟，因为你的语音流根本都不经过KoT。接通的延迟也不会大，
因为KoT的CPU负荷非常非常的低，服务器的带宽刚刚的又不通媒体流，几乎不会发生拥
挤和等待的现象。GV的拨号当然不是瞬时的，这是由这种回拨的拨号方式决定的，KoT
不会更快，也不会更慢。
至于miss掉电话，是你的ATA没有启用KeepAlive。你会说，那为什么CallCentric不会
miss？因为CC强迫你的ATA每一分钟就必须重新注册一次。这是非常低档次的做法，极
大地浪费资源。不少SIP供应商都这样瞎搞，害得我不敢让免费用户注册到他们的供应
商。试想，如果1000个用户，每分钟注册一次，那别人还打不打电话了？正确的做法是
用KeepAlive。

SIP registration use very little system resource.
As far as I know, it may be a problem if 1M user register every second, but
1k users every minute is not an issue at all.
There are published white papers on this, and you can you also do a simple
test by yourself using sipp.

A lot more than keepalive and don't forget about the endpoints - those
mobile devices powered by battery.

My original point was that 1K SIP registration per min even per second is
not a problem for a low end SIP server at all. You misled other guys by
claiming it's a problem.
A real mobile device goes on and off of data network, and change their
connections if they switch between cellular network and wifi network, and
between cellular towers.
That being said, I don't think a tcp connection is a silver bullet, and it
also consumes more resources at the server side.
