Due to budget challenges in the School District, all K-3 classes in the
district will see an increase in the
student to teacher ratio from 20:1 to as much as 30:1. Our school is one of
the schools identified where the
class size increase will go into effect starting next year. We have
estimated that a donation of $1350 from
each child in the K-3 grades would allow us to maintain the 20:1 ratio

现在的手机基本上都是功能过剩。俺半年前还在用果6，就那几样每天用的，也没什么
不行的。现在要说升级，基本上就是升级相机。这个差了三年的的确确差了不少。别的
什么速度快一点啥的，6已经够快了。再快又能咋样。微信啥的，在果6上和在果叉上不
还都是微信么，又不是只有叉才能用。刷脸啥的，靠，没手指吗？这就叫画蛇添足。。
。。
后来我决定试试安卓的。几个月前换了三星的9+。当然是冒了点风险，在EBAY买的。好
象是一个中东的版本。最后的价格是710.用起来倒是没什么问题。不过以后这么贵的东
西还是官网上订比较好，为省这200块担了不少的心。开始觉得9+傻大傻大的，现在用
惯了倒是觉得也不错。倒可能回不去小的了。和果子机没啥本质区别，就是适应一下操
作习惯。最大的差别就是相机。俺家LD还在用果6，今年夏天回国拍照什么的，特别是
近照，大头照，不是一个级别的。后来基本上就都是我在拍了。所以要说区别，还真就
是相机。但是拍远景，都不是很远，比如孩子踢球的，手机相机又完全和哪怕俺的入门
白兔6单反又不是一个档次了。镜头的限制是没办法克服的。但是近景真的差不多了。
一个白兔也就500块不到。
果子这次出了三个。大概也是觉得如果就是起价就是1000，可能有点狠了。至少我觉得
去年买8和X的没啥动力要换。但是这个R我觉得不伦不类的。买果机除了省心，性能外
，装B也是一大因素。真要是为了省这一两百块钱的话，还不如来一个安卓就好了。我
估计最后还是MAX和S最好卖。等大家都适应了手机就得上千这个价位后，明年R就没了
。LD的6用了够久了，准备拍拍马屁给换个S了。没办法，怎么定价是果子说了算，咱就
只能修修补补用三年肉痛一次也就是了。
要说这次的新功能，我其实一直希望手机能测血压。不过心电图也算一个进步吧。最大
的卖点可能就是双卡了。这个倒其实主要是中国的需求。美国这里有两个号的恐怕不多
。小三没落实之前没必要啊。大概有自己生意的是一个好处。私人一个号公司一个号一
台手机就都搞定了。不过这玩意9+已经有了。我估计三星8可能都已经有了。但是这个
功能可能能拉一批人改投果子。都有自己的公司了，1000块小意思啦。
总的来讲，没啥太多亮点，也比较贵。正常升级吧。现在的手机真的用几年没问题。但
人苹果的股票，真的是不服不行。。。

给我做facial的mm推荐Pola Signs Solution Eye Zone Mask，用起来挺舒服的，不过因为我没有眼袋和黑眼圈，没注意有啥改进。

I think the teaching style is different in China. In China it is more
structured teaching style, then 30:1 or even 60:1 is still OK. But here most
school is in more a non-structured teaching style (except some schools such
as Hoover), the raise in student/teacher ratio will have a great side
effect on the teaching quality.

我们小时候哪是1:60啊.我们一年级有语文,数学,音乐,美术,体育,劳动老师的.
越到后来科目越多,老师也越多.
美国的学校,一个老师就教所有的科目了.我一直奇怪他们这么教能教得了多少,
他们自己水平就未必够吧.

为什么学校一没钱，就找家长要？作为房奴，我们付Property Tax,
Parcel tax, Donation for PTA, 现在没钱了又来要。什么时候是个头阿？为什么学区
不能做点牺牲呢？比如减薪，减时什么的。公司，政府都在Lay off，和减薪，为什么
学区不行呢？想不通。
