给议员的信我写了一个草稿供大家参考，本人英文水平有限，欢迎指正。
Like many fellow Americans, I am extremely shocked and saddened by the
tragic event happened at Sandy Brook Elementary last Friday. My heart
goes to the families who lost their loved ones. Gun control has long been a
tabooed subject and no politicians are willing to talk about it publicly.
However, I think it's time for us to face this issue in order to protect our
children. As a parent, I strongly urge the congress to address the issue of
gun control in a timely manner. Our future will heavily depend on your
immediate action. Thank you for your consideration.
说明一，对于gun control的问题，我的了解还是非常有限的，所以我在信里并没有明
确的指出gun control到底应该做什么怎么做，而是更侧重在希望能够开诚布公的讨论
这个问题而不是像以前一样大家都保持沉默。
说明二，这封信是写给国会议员的。gun law在很大程度上是由各州自行规定的。所以
我希望大家都好好了解一下本州关于gun的法律是什么样的，然后可以直接给自己的州
议员发信。
说明三，发email现在很方便，注意发信的时候写上自己全名和地址。
最后，感谢大家的支持，包括pro-gun的同学。虽然把你们招过来不是我的本意，但是
你们的很多意见对我来说还是有很大的参考价值的。
