收到学校邮件状态已改,虽然不是APPROVED，但是是抽中了，很开心，
祝福大家都能拿到。
学校ISS原邮件如下：
Hello XX,
Yes the change of status notation has been posted to your SEVIS record.
Please provide me with your mailing address and I will mail the new I-20
Please note this does not mean your H1-B has been approved, it simply means
the application has been accepted by USCIS and is under review.
You should direct all questions about the H1-B application process to the
immigration attorney that has filed the petition.

不好意思，我觉得你理解错了，这封信的意思是SEVIS更新并不代表你的H-1B petition
会被approve，但是你的确被抽中了。恭喜！

SEVIS更新并不代表被抽中，只是说你的申请被USCIS review。并不是想打击大家，只
是贴上有用的信息，怕错误信息误导大家。学校ISS原邮件如下：Hello XX,Yes.......

SEVIS更新只是表示你的申请被抽中了，并不表示你的H1b申请已经被批注了。我今天
上午写邮件给学校的国际学生办公室，然后他们给我回的邮件是
"Change of Status Pending 04/17/2013"，
过了大概一个小时左右就收到律师来信说被抽中，个人认为如果被抽中，然后又是non-
pp 可以通过这种方法提前知道结果，省几天的煎熬吧，
祝福版上所有在等待H1b的人们！

LZ的case是10月1日之前i20就到期了吧，所以他们必须要延长给你capgap。
我OPT明年才到期，理论上及时抽到了也没有必要updatei20吧

before your H1B status becomes valid，usually Oct 1st, you would have under
the cover of i20. Regardless what kind of work you do and how many hours you
work per day.
