Why do you have to use a phone #? It's not required to enter phone # when
registering online. I might be wrong though. :p

我是在店里面申请的, 好象需要电话号码, 我再去看看.

Just ask the cashier for a new card - you don't have to register in the
store right there. Do it online at home. :)
