A crippling ice and snow storm left thousands of commuters and students
stranded on Atlanta’s highways on Tuesday evening. Many drivers, stuck in
the cold and at risk of running out of fuel, took shelter in local
businesses, including CVS/pharmacy #4665 in Atlanta. But these customers got
more than a just warm place to stay. They were given snacks, water, hot
chocolate, and coloring books for the kids. And customers even got to test
some of our products by finding creative ways to use them as pillows.
“I’m so proud of this store,” says Herb Farley, District Manager. “Store
Manager Todd Cochran, Pharmacist Charles Livingston and the staff not only
kept the store open all night to accommodate customers during a difficult
situation, they made the experience as comfortable as possible for them.”
