I am debating if I should make windows valance myself. I spend several
nights online and am not able to decide which one to buy. They are expensive
, and hard to find one that I like and matches my house.
I thought if I buy fabric it will be easier to find a matching one.
I am not good at sewing. I wonder if anyone can recommend a sewing machine.
It is not my hobbie, it is just for window valance (8 windows total). worth
it?

lz是想省钱呢还是想省时间呢
not good at sewing？你以为good at sewing的都是自己sewing吗？人家很多也是good
at sewing machine
你要不想买来东西最后束之高阁，千年不用一回，直接去买不就得了，何必自己动手

我买过这款比较简单的
Brother XL2600I Sew Advance Sew Affordable 25-Stitch Free-Arm Sewing Machine
基本针脚都有，如果想锁边好看些，还是有个锁边机serger machine更好

直接买，有了缝纫机要么自己累，要么白花钱。不如直接买现成的，省心又省事。

I found it on amazon, about $80. Thanks!
Previous owner made valance herself. She is very good at it. However, she
took all with her except one.
With that one, I think I need to carve out the fabric based on that shape
and 1-2 inches more at the border. Hope it is not be a big project.
There are several online videos you can watch for making valance.
