Lowe's has the GE Hotpoint 3.5-cu ft Top-Load Washer and Electric Dryer back
on sale, just $269 with free delivery. Was $449. Save 40% through 1/12/15.
I actually own these. My opinion:
* Washing machine runs quietly and cleans well; my only complaint is I have
to keep the setting on the largest load size in order to get the water level
as high as I'd like.
* Dryer has a nifty auto dry function. Clothes seem to dry quickly; no
complaints.
At checkout, try promo code 47000RRRRR3558R for an add'l 10% off (replace Rs
with random #s). That would bring the price down to just $242 each.
Perhaps someone could try the promo code and let us know if it works!
