I applied for new service online, and got cancelled for 'Unable to transfer
the number'. I am currently using att.
I contacted cricket, the customer service is not helpful and said i need to
ask att to release the number. And the att said that i can't ask them to
release it and the cricket should contact them.
Also, when applying online, what should i use for pin number? att said pin
is not required and they can't set it for me.
Has anybody have experience transferring from att to cricket?

都是用户要求AT&T release，下家才不管呢。难道是和AT&T合同未到期？

Called. the agent said that there is no pin for my account and she can't set
up a pin for me because it is not required.

it is out of contract Sep of 2014. Should i ask AT&T to release first and
then apply cricket online? After AT&T release, can i still use att before
activating cricket?

如果你以前是family plan，只有holder才能设置pin，也只有holder才能问到pin

I am the holder. It looks that they make the last four ssn as my pin.
