The exposure is good for the smoke, so I think just burn the hand heavily,
(>200% expoosure) will make it nicer.
Great work, zzzw!! I have thought about making something like it for a long
time, the only thing is that I don't smoke. :-(

guess what? the exposure for the hand and cigarette
in this print is 400% of the other parts. hehe.
I already burned the hand a lot. but seems still too white.
But I doubt if further burning would reveal more texture, because
of the strong sunlight, there might be no detail for the hand
on the film anyway.
on the other hand, it might make the whole print grey due to
light leakage if burning too long.
I don't know, worth trying.. thank corn and irix for the suggestion.

cool, I used Grade 4 paper for this print.
I intentionally chose the high contrast effect
to further separte the smoke from background.
maybe I should try a low contrast print. thanks.

check the neg, if there are some details, burn it heavily, open the aperture
a few stops to save some time.
Usually light leakage is not a problem when burning, use a thick card board,
I have tried >800% burns.
Another way is just to flash white light on the whole picture or just the hand
part, this will darken the very high light area.
Try solarization on this print, might be interesting.

agree -
but not fully agree.
the mood could be 无聊, 郁闷, lonely or calm... but how could it
be 激动? That's totally different from the above ones..
I didn't mean a single bit of 激动 in this picture.
did u feel it? if u do, that's my failure.
