I guess you haven't tried the real Micro lens yet.
The DOF is more critical when using Micro lens on close
distance subjects. If you know the equation how to
caculate DOF.
Many modern SLRs have the DOF preview function button now.
like N80 .
Micro and Ultra-wide angle are just my personal favorite
on wild flowers , at least for now .
Not necessary true. But on the photo market, it's easier
to find works done by these two kinds of lenses.
Bobo's cherry flower photos didn't impress me either.
