最近对大盘的分析和个股的分析应该很难，因为这是突然的利空，而且这是两个全球最
大的经济实体在干架，谁输谁赢不知道，赢了会怎么样可能知道，输了会怎么样，也很
难判断。
所以目前的走势，绝对没法分析。
看了下今天的盘面，低开，然后再度跌下去，后来开始反弹，有股票开始翻红，不少股
票还涨停，说明第一，国家希望主力要托盘，不希望股市大跌，我估计，甚至会对基金
有要求，只能进不能卖，第二，国家队游资的拉抬持欢迎态度。所以如果大盘这里有反
弹也是可以理解的，但是这个托盘能够起到什么作用，很难说，我看到在银行都大量砸
盘，这可能是海外自己能在砸盘，我甚至怀疑再这样，国家队会把这些账户都关闭了，
反正这是金融战，可以使用所有手段，能够怎么有效果就怎么干。

The original file is doc file with a lot of big pictures so I have to print
out my file and scan with low resolution in order to be able to paste here.
For 3-year-old, I use big and attractive pictures without too much
literature.

2011年9月底来美，j1签证，不知道2014年前9个月的联邦税，洲税（麻洲），社会保险
税和医疗税有没有可以退的？谢谢！

最近在换工作，碰的一个比较变态的hr
本来我的新工作要9月1号开始，但是他又要去我现在的payroll必须到8月31号，这也没
关系，我现在的工作同意我工作到8月31号，然后我就问hr说能不能9月10好开始工作，
因为9月1号是周末，而且我还需要搬家什么的
现在hr说，他已经打了LCA,如果给我change start date到10号，还必须重新打Lca,又
要等2-4周，然后还非要pp h1的申请，说怕到9月10号批不下来，要求我必须9月1号报
到。
我问了几个律师都说只要拿的移民局的收据其实就可以合法开始工作了，既然他9月1号
之前肯定能递到移民局，那为什么不允许我晚几天去报到呢？
我想搜一下移民局关于h1b portability的条款给他看，可是我找不到很官方的文件
麻烦大家指点一下，怎么才能让这个hr同意我可以晚几天去工作？急，多谢各位

PHD--5万，然后6万。。工作4年了。。

Chinese and I wanted to forward this thread to her.

When I was taking these photos on the weekend, I kept telling myself that I
was working on a project, therefore the correlation between the photos
rather than the beauty of one single photo is what I should be focused on.
It turned out that these are just so-so photos, none of them stands out by
its own beauty. But that's fine, I told myself. No matter what, I edited
them in earnest. I tried my best to put them in the order that I feel good
about. This is my first time working on a photography project anyway.
Any comments are appreciated!!!!

不是免税36个月，是三年，哈哈，具体是这样的，如果你是一月份来美，那恭喜你，你
可以免税三年整，如果你是12月初来美，那就对不起，实际上第一年的免税时间你已经
过了，也就是你实际上只能免税两年加一个月了。
这么说明白了不？

I was debating with myself on that part too. I thought those two photos
suggested the human life...not sure if it's a convincing reason though...

楼上说错了。
免税应该不是以自然年划分的。
你要是11年9月来美的，那么免税时间从11年9月到14年8月。而且14年八月到十二月交
的税基本上都能退回来，因为你可报税收入在贫困线以下。
社会保险税和医疗税不在免税和退税范围。只要你在美国呆过2个一月一日，就要交。
比如说你11年九月来的，那么13年一月份开始就要交了，这个确实是不合算的，相当于
多交了8个月。
而且理论上：
14年的报税早已结束，还能退税吗？

建议你去咨询学校负责发工资和签免税协议的地方，毕竟我们都不是专家

One minor suggestions: instead of saying "new dresses", you may want to say
"new outfits" since "dresses" are usually for girls only :)

我的学校不需要自己操作。财务部门都搞好了。如果非要说有什么特别步骤的话，就是
每年年底和payroll office有一些交流，告知他们包括婚姻状况在内的一些个人信息。
在一般情况下，免税部分不存在先交税再退税的情况，因为这部分从一开始就不算
taxable income。
而且你这个早就是上一个财政年度的事了，按照常规做法是很难退回来的。
LS说的对，你的问题过于复杂，只能去问你的财务部门。

ah - so you were trying to sequence them based on concept. I normally
sequence photos purely on visual properties. I tend to focus on what I saw
rather than what I think. Anyway, not bad pictures. You might need multiple
trips to finish a project, though.

Big Sur. :) Strictly speaking, it's not a project. It's nothing but a set of
correlated photos.
Gurus keep saying that novices should work on projects but not individual

Actually, I didn't think that much. I just had a feeling that #6 has a
different style than those ocean photos, but I didn't figure out why until
you asked me. I might be wrong.

have a serias of photos as a piece of work. There are plenty of serias in

Ah I see. Thanks!
But anyway, I don't know how to categorize these photos...My goal was not to
take landscape pictures only.

谢谢！我觉得1比2强太多了吧？2的构图很不平衡，左上角太暗了，那个画龙点睛的瀑
布整个都在阴影里，是很失败的一张。这个景点是big sur最著名的一个景点，很多人
都拿着相机狂拍，我当时一看光线不行，瀑布刚好在阴影里，我就决定一张都不拍了。
可是我LD在旁边唧唧歪歪的，问我怎么不拍啊？这么有名的地方你竟然不拍啊？我就为
了让她闭嘴就按了一张。结果洗出来以后一看片子，我就直接把它delete了。但是组成
集子的时候，我觉得要是能再多一张coast的就会好一些，于是，我就把2这张又勉强拿
出来用了。从单张的角度看，2是失败的，但是放在一个集子里，我觉得它起到的作用
还凑合。
2这张的地理位置，如果是日落时候去拍，应该是非常棒的一个景点，但是我不热衷于
拍风光，所以，我就没有安排日落时分专程跑去那里拍照。

其实你的数字照片并不是不如你的胶片照, 只是色有些冷, 这在软件里很容易解决.

恩，对于会PS的来说，把那两张数码的打扮出彩来应该不难，但是，胶片吸引我的理由
之一就是不再需要大量的后期处理了。:)
另外，我觉得那两张不仅是色调冷的问题，我觉得整个画面都显得非常flat，色彩缺乏
层次感，尤其是有公路的那张，远景上的东西都象泡在水里洗过似的。如果是胶片的，
即便是很淡的色彩，也都非常有层次，有种力透纸背的感觉。:) 另外，我也不知道是
怎么回事，并没有挂着劣质filter，为什么会这样整体偏蓝？？
