I have heard people talking about shallow depth of field when doing macro or
close up photography. Here I tried to get an idea of exact how shallow it
is. I stacked some pennies into 5 stacks.
As you can see from the picture, the five stacks had 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
pennies respectively. The stack of 3 pennies was in the center.
Then I used a 50mm lens with the Nikon 4T close-up lens attached. I set the
aperture of the lense at f/2 and focused on the central stack. Here is the
