今天上午一个德州的号码打电话到我手机称自己是Comcast的，然后问我要我的生日。
我问他要生日干嘛，他说因为我的住址和别人重复需要additional info to verify me
, 我当时随口就编了个假的。
之后过了10分钟，另一个德州号码打来说自己是一个公司，说一个人拿着我的全套信息
，要申请一个vehicle的什么东西（没听清楚是干嘛的），之后我就问他那人提供的SSN
和生日是什么，结果SSN是我真实的SSN但是生日是我之前提供的那个假的！
之后我说我不认识那个人，那个公司的人就把那份Application给销毁了。
看起来我的SSN, 电话，姓名铁定被人拿到了，住址不敢肯定，但是拿到的生日铁定是
假的。
问诸位这种情况我该怎么办？

那是什么意思？因为毕业了所以不能在发paper了只能有这里的几篇，可能就只能在
review上下功夫，请问就现在的情况再加强review能行么?而且只是希望citation能在
这1年内涨点！

police department got him, 说我暂时不用太担心了。just keep monitoring your

citations, in the meanwhile your work experience of 1-2 years will
accumulate to satisfy the 3-year minimum requirement (your graduate school
may account for half time).

加强review,然后就是熬到三年，如果你的title不是research associate, 想办法让老
板换掉。永久工作职位是硬件，我有个朋友，很够EB1-B了，就是OFFER没处理好，最后
硬FAIL掉了。我看了他的据信，觉得就是因为IO纠结不是永久职位，硬说他其他的
CLAIM都不够。
还有一点，平时要遇到别人科研上的求助，或者要材料，尽量帮忙，然后保留那些
EMAIL。

恩谢谢谢谢，不过我觉得我要攒到50citation太难了！做的东西实在不是很fancy 都
是比较基础的研究，我觉得我唯一能够claim的就是杂志是在同领域里面还不错的虽然
都在3-5没有大于5的！

1.Get more review, I think >10 is enough.
2. Go to conference and accumulate conference abstracts, get to know "big
cows"in your field if possible. They can be very valuable indipendent
reference.
3.Dig into your materials, such as google and find out media report (if any)
, compare your publaiton record to others in your field etc. IF you can find
evidence that you are top of your field (even your citation seems low, if
your citation is comparable to top in the field), you don't have to wait for
your citation to go up to file EB1b.

citations > 50
Reviews > 15
如果你申请NSC，citations要求更高（>60~70）

第二条很重要，开会可以认识很多不同国家的人。我的许多independent letter都是开
会认识的人写的。

check any proceedings, any printing can be counted as publications ( you
publication is already good)
get a reference letter to support your conference prez.
the sooner, the better. Do not wait.

可以考虑先上 NIW，跟律师咨询一下能不能把推荐信写成 NIW EB1B能 reuse 的那种。
Meanwhile 攒 citation 和 review, 等 citation 过 50 review 过 20 就可以试试
了。

不过我还想问下，比如我已经发过的文章被一些仪器公司列到网页上作为用他们仪器的
reference算是media report么？
还想再问下怎么“get a reference letter to support your conference prez. ”呢
？开会从来没要过reference letter，而且很多会都是几年前的了。

It's not media report, but it's very useful evidence that your work is
useful, that's more important than pure citations. You may want to get
some letter from that company to talk about your contribution to their
product.
You don't ask for reference letter during the conferences, but try to get
to know more people. These people are the potential references for you
when you need them.
