我们这里的contractor都这么干，所以一直自己做。

not too sure about the rate in your state. Here in long island, its about $
30 - $50 for winterization. If the cost of the compressor is $150, it would
take you 3-5 years to make back the investment and by then you may need a
new compressor.
it is a once a year expense. I don't think its worthwhile to invest in this
type of compressor...

I don't get ALL the water out...
My valve control box is much higher than sprinklers too (damn slopes).

of course, it could last longer.. but there is also a chance that it could
fail whinin the first year... for something that you would only use once a
year, i don;t think it is a good investment.

不是家里一般都有一个compressor吗？如果平时也可以用就不算浪费了，关键看多大够
用。

but is it better than walmart/target scanning? One can give walmart/target
negatives and they will scan and make a picture CD for a couple of dollars.
Is V300 better quality than target?

没用过这一款，我比较不想折腾，所以都是走的Nikon VED -> Epson 750 & 8000ED路
线。135胶片的话，VED足够好了。

cheapest you can consider is plustek 7300, $240 on B&H
everything cheaper is a waste of your $$$

i doubt. walmart/target use frontier or similar system. although resolution-
wise V300 may be able to match what you get from walmart, its dynamic range
is much worse than a frontier.

Minolta Scan Dual系列比较便宜，速度快，扫描质量高，唯一遗憾就是没ICE

35mm没有ICE还是比较头疼的，这也是为什么我推荐7500

普通店扫的分辨率一般比较低
我们这里最大的分辨率，长边只有2000pixel
但是色彩肯定比你自己扫出来好

那得看人家有没有兴趣扫高分辨率照片。
比如我现在135片子扫描从来不超过800 dpi。网上贴个图拉倒

照片好坏不是简单的分辨率问题，magnum的网站片子不到700边长还打满了标，照样秒
杀这里99%。即使是爱好者，也完全可以有不同的追求，玩35mm胶片的没几个是追求分
辨率的。玩polaroid的也类似。

不同人有不同追求，但是像楼主这样问有几个mega pixel的，如果发现最后结果连一个
都不到，肯定会大失所望 :p

你就算投资买了2万刀的X5，3万刀的iq3，甚至滚扫，也不可能追上D3x的信号质量的。

倒没说他全错
但看评测出功能介绍外，基本我只看图，点评文字我很少看。
他有些评测还是很有用的，例如之前发现的他的16mm，18mm视角实拍比较。

老肯总结的leica镜头系统的资料倒是很有用。反正凡是客观数据的东西他都还比较靠
谱，一旦到了好坏情感问题那就....

Minolta SCAN ELITE. 2800 DPI, 有七八年OLD 了. SCSI的, 不一定适合一般人, 我台
式机硬盘是SCSI, 就无所谓了

其实ken的见解还是有可取之处，Mamiya 7的画质在中副相机里面的确是顶级的了，但机
器本身的设计有些值得改进之处。此外，便携性也不如M6，所以说后者更好也是可以理
解的。
