Dear members on this board,
Here is a version of the explanation letter I prepared to address the
request on the Part 7 (I-131).
"On a separate sheet of paper, explain how you qualify for an Advance Parole
Document, and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole.
Include copies of any documents you wish considered. (See instructions.)"
Please comment and help me to see if it is okay for this purpose.

To Who it may concern,
Re: Application for Travel Document (Advance Parole, I-131) - while I-485
pending
I am applying to adjust my immigration status from H1B Visa to permanent
resident (Form I-485). Meanwhile, I am filing Form I-131 together with my
Form I-485.
While this application I-485 is pending your approval, I have to undertake
oversea trip to P.R.China in order to visit my elderly family members,
including my parents. I intend to travel on March 2016.
I have enclosed the following documents:
1. Form I-131 with two (2) photos.
2. Passport biographical pages.
3. Birth Certificate.
4. Copy of nonimmigrant visa and stamps.
5. Most recent I-94 and electronic travel records.
6. Form I-797A Notice of Action, Approval Notice for Change Nonimmigrant
Status (PD: xx-xx-xxxx);
7. Form I-797, Notice of Action, Approval Notice for class H1B (temporary
worker).
8. I-765 duly filled.
