诚心求助版上各位前辈：
Fresh Ph.d 毕业，收到一家chemical company 的offer，但是只有base，没有sign on
bonus/relocation fee，请问我可以向HR提出吗？同时怎么开口提高base呢？目标设
为多少比较合适？10-20%？现在手中没有其他的offer，所以不是很有底气，公司是
Fortune 500, 觉得不该这么小气啊..

刚才打电话给fbi关于fp的status，对方说fingerprint was processed and was sent
back to uscis.这个是不是就代表fp通过了？谢谢！

真的无语了。
觉得是虚假bid,不会付账的。可能能bid的人自己也在卖EOS 1V, 看见人家价低不爽，
上马甲吧价格bid上天，使自己的容易出手。

补充：职位和我的Ph.d方向一致，机会很难得，所以不论能否提高都接受，只是想努力
提高点。

就前两个bid还有点靠谱，其他的几个bid估计有问题。

job offer.
Yes, you can do it.
Find out what you want, find out what is the salary range this position will
pay.
Then, decide your balance point.
要谈工资并不难。
没有那个金钢钻，就别揽那瓷器活。
Bottom line is: Keep the offer.

i don't know. I think the number is only for FP. There should be another
number for NC.

fresh 的话， base 很难 negotiate。
想办法要点 relocation/sign on 倒还有希望。

恩，其实base给的我能接受，这份工作很有奔头，当初觉得再低也会去，
现在只是想多拿点。。

relocation总是可以要一些吧，就说不给你没钱搬家过去。
