Amazon is seeking a bright and dynamic Data Analyst to join its Worldwide
Engineering -Advanced Technology Group. WWE –ATG is responsible for
designing new systems in robotics, mechatronics, autonomous vehicles, and
packaging technology for Amazon Fulfillment.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for creating custom analytics
, understanding data architecture relationships in the context of real life
processes, and data processing and analyzing relevant business data in order
to support full product development cycles. In particular, you will be
responsible for aiding engineers in defining system design specifications,
gathering process driven business intelligence and data mining for new
technology applications, identifying new product development, and continuous
improvements opportunities.

Qualifications
· Experience with data analysis, product management, or a similar role
· Advanced knowledge of SQL
· Advanced data analysis skills – e.g. Database query construction, data
warehousing, pivot tables, experience in market and business analysis
· Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, including strong working knowledge
of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
· Highly organized and results oriented
· Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes and systems
· The ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various
locations
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data mining.
· Ability to educate others on statistical methods
· Familiarity with Redshift and/or Tableau
· Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other
business/analytical discipline
· Experience in using statistical software packages, e.g. SPSS, R, MATLAB
· Advanced experience of Microsoft Excel including Macros
· Programming skills would be highly advantageous
