Are you looking for a “rarely used” Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED? When
one of my parents died in 2006, I scanned approximately 1,000 - 35 mm family
slides that could not be physically removed from the family estate because
multiple siblings wanted all the slides and no one could decide how to
divide them. My solution was this scanner, which cost me $1,100 in 2006 (
see receipt above) and my laptop. I scanned all the slides onsite, creating
a digital archive. The Digital Ice technology was a godsend for some of
the damaged slides.
Now, the scanner just sits on a shelf. This scanner comes with all original
parts (minus the box) plus a black padded travel case (see pictures).
The Coolscan 5000 ED worked well for me and I’m sure anyone else faced with
a similar predicament will find it useful. It is in great condition and
still looks new.
I searched the web and was shocked to see that this exact same model is now
selling for several thousand dollars new, so take advantage of this
opportunity!
