I bought a used phone from this evil seller using "Buy it now" on e-Bay.
Turned out this evil seller did not mail all accessories (extra new
batteries, etc) advertised in pictures and description. Also he did not
mention a word about the phone beaten-up cosmetic condition and it was
impossible to tell from pictures. I emailed him nicely about missing
accessories (thinking he might forget them) and said the condition was not
as described but I can take it as long as he sends remaining accessories. He
admitted those were listed but he didn't mail those things because those
things didn't hold much charge or didn't work. He arrogantly refused to
solve the problem and made several contradicting lies. I was pissed off by
his attitude and told him to either send me those things or accept return or
do partial refund so I can buy the missing accessories myself. He asked for
extra shipping fee again or restocking fee for return (I pay the return
shipping cost). Those fees were not mentioned at all in listing. I told him
I would leave negative feedback if issue was not resolved. He notified ebay
about me planning to leaving negative feedback. Without understanding the
issue, ebay notified me I cannot do so to request return or partial refund.
After a few days, I went ahead to open a case and left him a negative
feedback. Apparently he notified eBay again and the feedback was removed.
Good thing is that eBay ruled the seller was at fault and final decision is
in my favor. So i can just return the item without paying restocking fee. I
will lose return shipping fee though. Also it wasted me so much time and
delayed my schedule and plan.
Now I wonder if I can leave negative feedback again? How should I do that
without have feedback cancelled? Should I consult with eBay?
