请教各位地产专家，如果发现房子county record的lot size有误，按city的accessor
的parcel map给的边界来计算比record 大，有没有办法申请更改。举个例子大概就
是6600 和7100的区别，但是在一个价钱对lot size很敏感的地段，我自己如果是buyer
的话，这个区别对我来说来说还是有的。
如果appeal 成功，会影响房子的估价吗？房子是几年前买的，会影响买房子的tax
base吗？谢谢大家！

你可以自己请人做一个land survey，然后到county appeal。如果差异大的话，可
能地产税会重新调整。

嗯是cul-de-sac的lot。谢谢回复。我其实不想appeal 边界，就是用county的parcel
map给的边界，稍微有点irregular，可是计算显然不对啊，也需要从新survey？我以为
survey主要是survey边界线的。

有两种情况，除了的确的discrepancy以外（这种说实话你挺难appeal）
一种是county record 本身在录入系统的时候错了，最近一个客户就是这种情况，
1311sqft的 condo硬是给录成1311，她考虑卖房的时候，刚好查出来county record有
问题，然后立即电话county，一般这种当天就可以fix， 3-7 business day就会改正。
你不妨先打一下county tax collectors office 电话确认，省的无谓花钱。

County's parcel map is filed by builder, it is the official record of your
lot. You cannot use your viewed boundary to calculate. If that part of land
is in your neighbor's side now, you either claim it back or lose it forever.
If the disputed part is in public area, it is still your land, but you have
to allow the public to access it, for example, walkway aloung your fence or
front yard. You may not dispute the parcel map, but you can dispute the
calculation. If you think the calculation is wrong from the city's parcel
map, you may correct it. You can call in a land surveyor, but they survey
land based on county's parcel map. Unless you believe your land is
encroached by neighbor, the land survey does nothing for this case.
