For HOV,
Market Value: Around 700 million
Equity(as of last quarter): -400 million.
Gross Profit Margin: 15%
Most of their operation rely on bank's borrow and note.
For most large chinese Homebuilders(over 500 million in anual sale),
typically, over 30% gross profit margin, bank's borrowing is only 30% of
their capital structure.
Yet, HOV is one of the best performance stock this year. I still own some
share.

I like HOV too and owns some calls. These low quality stocks should work
well in the later stage of the housing recovery as profitability gets lifted
. Stock also has 30%+ short interest and 10%+ borrow cost which supports it
price in the recent market environment.
