最近入了全副，用套头24-105拍了些人像。感觉和以前用的35/1.8G效果差不多。当然
不同门，不同机子，一个变焦一个定焦不好这么比。但LD感觉没什么区别。现在花了钱
升级，LD觉得不值得。这样很不利于以后funding申请。大师们给说说怎么办？

不是大师，搞个70-200 就不一样了

I personally feel the optics for 50mm/f1.8 is good enough to produce good
portraits. There isn't really a reason to upgrade unless you plan to work
under low light or use ultra wide angle.
For a stunning portrait scored at 100 --
80 - comes from a great photographer, i.e. lighting, angle of view...
18 - depends on the lens you use
2 - comes from the camera body

That being said, you are spending a thousand dollor to get an improvement of
1 out 100 for portraits. If your budget is tight, you should really improve
your skills or get better lenses.

恩。学习了。
升级主要是原来的D60机子太老了，低光不能用，iso上400以上就不行了。

就是想知道同等技术水平下，24-105加全副是不是不如残幅定焦。

你搞错了吧。35mm拍全身都嫌广。全副机拍半身用85mm以上。
35mm，扫街，拍到此一游不错。

试试用35近身拍半身。

拍小朋友还行，拍mm，大鼻子受不了的。

35mm是室内人像利器，85在室内不好拍吧，一般屋子施展不开，舞台又太远。

this is head&shoulder shot.
I said *half body* - which means at least you can see the waist. You are
missing the important point.
