iwatch。现在fitbit flex才$59。
Jawbone is a horrible company. To reiterate from other threads:
1st generation of Jawbone UP bands had defects, so the company offered a "No
Questions Asked" refund policy
Company backed out of their policy and removed all documents pertaining to
it 3 weeks later - required receipts/invoice as proof.
Company backed out even further and refused to honor refunds if you had
given them away (bands were released right before Christmas, 2012)
Company renegged their refund policy even further, forcing users to sync
their bands to "prove current ownership". Hundreds of users on their forum
cried out in anger as they had thrown out their bands because the bands were
broken and they were already promised a "No Questions Asked" refund.
Company claimed to offer "free band replacements" for the life of the 1-year
warranty, but refused to service certain countries/territories even though
they were included in the policy (on paper).
Company offered in-store credit as refund, but mishandled many accounts and
forced credits to expires as fast as 3 days after notifying the customer.
Company relaunched the "Jawbone UP" with a second generation device, and at
the same time enacted a policy to refuse to honor the 1-year warranty on the
1st generation device (even for genuine/eligible purchases made through
Target even as late as September, 2012, a month before the launch of the 2nd
generation device which should give owners until September 2013 to honor
warranties).
After the launch of the 2nd generation device, Jawbone refused to honor
their "free replacement" policy and deleted the documents off of their
website and archives.
After one week of backlash and outcry on their support forum, Jawbone erased
its entire online community, banned users who did not support their company
, and sent gifts to users who defended Jawbone publicly on the forum.
Jawbone now employs admins who remove any posts on their new online forum
that references issues that can be seen as a "flaw" in their design. Admins
also remove any posts about complaints, even on the thread about "Complaints
".
Jawbone sent cease-and-decist letters and threatened legal action against
sites and people who made any portion of their deleted policies, public
warranty documents, forum comments, customer support chat logs, etc.
available. These include screenshots posted onto Facebook or Tumblr. The
company is trying hard to wash away any digital trace of their wrongdoing.
